WHY WE LOVE SERVING AT CAMP

  • "Working at Camp Illiana has probably been one of the most amazing summer experiences I've ever had!" I got to meet so many amazing people, learned so much about the gospel, and the importance of working as a team."

    Bella Ross, Media Staff

  • "I love working at camp because I want to make a lasting impact. What better way to do that than to share the love of Jesus with others."

    Gabe Muller, Program Staff

  • "Seeing and being a part of lives changing IS life changing."

    Conrad Yoder, Program Staff

  • "I love working at camp because I love relational ministry. I enjoy being able to connect with campers and volunteers and get to see them grow from year to year. God blesses us with unique relationships in order to show His love and what it means to be in His family. Despite how hard it is to serve in ministry some days, we push through and keep loving!"

    Abbey Gross, Program Staff

  • "Working at camp gives you such a loving family and surrounds you in Gods love all the time. You get to touch the lives of so many kids and help them grow in their faith every day."

    Morgan Medina, Program Staff

  • "I love working at camp because it feels like home. I love when campers come back year after year and say "yeah I was too scared but you prayed with me and I'm gonna try again this year". Some of those kids, we don't know where they come from, what home looks like, we get to show them love and we get to facilitate a place that teaches them God will love them no matter where they are."

    Kelsey Ledderman, Program Staff

  • "Fellowship! Working at camp is tiring, but the relationships, and the brothers and sisters you gain through Christ, whether that be staff, campers, or leaders, is the coolest thing ever!"

    Emily Neighbors, Kitchen Staff

  • "I love working at camp because of the environment and the people you get to work with that become your friends. It's a place you get to grow in your faith while actively serving the Lord."

    Kendall Kemp, Maintenance Staff

  • "Working at camp isn't just a job, but a ministry. I love working at camp because I get to connect with campers, faculty, and staff on a mission field whose one goal is to grow people closer to Christ! I love being able to love Jesus and love people so closely all in one place!"

    Mya Stiles, First Aid Staff

  • "I love working at camp because there is no better joy in life than getting to experience Christ's love expressed through his love for the children that come through the gates."
